The Dubai Concert Committee was established 20 years ago, on 8 January 1996 under the kind patronage of HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saed al Maktoum, by Sir Maurice Flanagan the founder of the Emirates Airlines, the British Consul General HE Chris Wilton and a group of high profile business people and music lovers to provide the first opportunity to regularly enjoy classical music concerts in Dubai and the Middle East. The Dubai Concert committee – the DCC – is today chaired by Brigitta Dagostin, a opera stage director form Switzerland, and has provided more than 200 concerts to over 100,000 music lovers.
The Morozov’s Quartet was formed 15 years ago by the violin virtuoso, founder and soloist of the quartet, CEO of M Premiere – Evgeniy Morozov. Each one of them is a graduate from the Belarus academy of music and winner of various competitions. As part of various chamber orchestras in America and Europe their members have performed with such famous conductors as Herbert Prikopa and Gustav Kunz. Their repertoire ranges from classical, rock, pop and jazz to Latin music.
