A legendary violinist virtuoso Dmitry Sitkovetsky came to Dubai to perform the famous masterpieces by Tartini, Grieg, Schubert and De Falla with the unique Stradivarius violin “Reifenberg” (1717).

A renaissance man and a magnetic creative force, Dmitry Sitkovetsky has made a considerable impact on every aspect of musical life and has been successful as a performer and facilitator for over four decades. He was born into a musical dynasty, to Julian Sitkovetsky the internationally acclaimed violinist, and his wife, a well-known pianist Bella Davidovich.

Dmitry Sitkovetsky is an artist whose creativity defies categorizing. He has built up an active and successful career as a violinist, conductor, arranger, chamber musician, and festival director. Mr. Sitkovetsky has performed as a soloist with a number of the world’s leading orchestras including the Berlin, New York, and LA Philharmonic Orchestras, Leipzig Gewandhaus, Concertgebouw Orchestra. He has performed at a number of high-profile festivals including Salzburg, Lucerne, and Edinburgh to name a few.

Mr. Sitkovetsky has worked with a diverse range of artists such as Marta Argerich, Yuriy Bashmet, Evgeniy Kissin, Misha Maisky, Denis Matsuev, Vadim Repin, and Shchedrin.
