Europe live in Dubai

Legendary Swedish rock band Europe, who scored a worldwide hit with the explosive The Final Countdown, delivered a full concert, organised by M Premiere, at the Dubai Tennis Stadium on November 22nd. They played some of their biggest hits like Carrie, Rock The Night, Last Look at Eden, New Love In Town, and of course The Final Countdown. The number one hit in 26 countries selling over 8 million singles worldwide in the past – The Final Countdown – was long awaited and concluding song of the evening.

The opening act was energized by UAE based Pop Rock band from Scotland and Canada The Boxtones who are the proud winners of a music competition hosted by Rolling Stone Magazine Middle East. UAE’s very own Rock band ASCENDANT also did electrify the evening with their live performances and songs which were instantly catchy and unapologetically powerful. It was fantastic; everyone who had attended this festival had a great time. One of the Europe’s band members said that they were truly honoured and excited to be able to play in such a great place as Dubai.
