2015

On the 19th of March 2015 the world-class pianist and the Honored Artist of Russia Mikhail Petukhov showed a delighted audience at the Royal Ballroom what it means to be a virtuoso, performing some of the most difficult compositions in the piano canon with flawless technique and unbridled passion. The concert was a part of the World Classical Music Series that is organized by M Premiere and the Dubai Concert Committee.

In his hands the piano breathes, roars, laughs, cries with a life of its own. It’s no surprise that the sold-out concert ended with a standing ovation. With Mr Petukhov’s unique combination of skill and sensitivity, he has won many international competitions and after the concert in Dubai it was easy to understand why.

Mikhail Petukhov dazzled the audience at One & Only Royal Mirage with selections by great composers, from Bach to Tchaikovsky. He truly is a pianist who wears his heart on his fingertips. For an encore, to bring the audience down from the Swan lake transcription by Earl Wild, he performed lovely and serene masterpieces of classical music by Franz Liszt.
